Environmentally Friendly
Henry Schein, Inc. joined the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM) to recognize Ethan McConnell, Vice President of All Kids Pediatric Dentistry, as the recipient of AADOM’s seventh annual Green Leader Award — presented at the 2019 AADOM Conference in Orlando.
Made possible by a grant from the Henry Schein Cares Foundation, the award recognizes dental office managers who lead their teams in reducing environmental impact and building greener practices. Our commitment to sustainability isn’t a side project — it runs through every clinical decision we make, from the materials we use on your child’s teeth to how we clean the office after every patient.
“The Green Leader Award encourages dental office managers to drive green initiatives for their practices and here at All Kids Pediatric Dentistry, we are committed to environmental sustainability and we strive to continue to create a greener community.” — Ethan McConnell, Vice President, All Kids Pediatric Dentistry.
Every material and method we use in our office is chosen with two priorities in mind: your child’s safety and our shared environment. Here’s what that looks like in practice:
Our digital X-ray system produces up to 90% less radiation than traditional film X-rays. Images appear on-screen in seconds, letting us review your child’s oral health with you in real time — no chemical processing, no film waste, and significantly less radiation exposure for your child.
BPA (bisphenol A) is a chemical found in some older dental composites and sealants. We use only BPA-free materials in all of our restorations and treatments. Your child’s developing body deserves nothing less, and we refuse to compromise on that standard.
Traditional amalgam fillings contain mercury. We use composite (tooth-colored) fillings exclusively — eliminating direct mercury exposure for your child and reducing mercury waste entering the environment through our practice. The result is restorations that are both safer and more natural-looking.
Formocresol is a chemical historically used in pediatric pulp treatments (baby root canals). We use safer, biocompatible alternatives that are equally effective — and far less concerning from a toxicology standpoint for small children.
Latex allergies are common in children and can cause reactions ranging from mild to severe. Our entire practice is latex-free — every glove, barrier, and accessory we use is made from synthetic alternatives — so there’s no risk of accidental latex exposure for your child or our team.
We exceed ADA and OSHA standards by using non-toxic, environmentally responsible cleaning products throughout our treatment rooms and for all dental equipment. The goal is a clean, safe clinical environment that doesn’t leave behind chemical residue for the next child in the chair. Learn more about what sets us apart as a practice.

“My 2yo has been going since she was like 6mo I think and they are so awesome! Punctual! Friendly! Easy to work with and schedule with! Send lots of appt reminders! My daughter got her teeth cleaned this morning with their equipment/tools instead of a normal toothbrush and she had so much fun! She watched bluey up above on the tv on the ceiling! Such a great idea!!!”
“We had an excellent experience during our routine visit. Lesly Mato attended to us and she was very sweet and kind to my children. They were satisfied with the service. 100% recommended.”
“My daughter has underlying health conditions that require extra care and caution. The staff are friendly, gentle, and makes my daughter feel completely at ease. The dentist explained the treatment progress clearly and took the time to answer all our questions. The office is always clean and welcoming. Highly recommended!!”
“They were so great! It was my 2 year olds first dentist visit and i thought she’d freak out but she absolutely adored them. She was even asking for her turn she was so excited. They take their time to make you feel and your kids feel comfortable and give you their undivided attention. So glad we found this place!”
