Infant & Toddler Dental Visits in Indian Trail, NC

A young child sits on a dental chair, looking curious and slightly apprehensive. A caregiver in a mask prepares for the dental examination in a well-lit clinic.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that a child’s first dental visit happen by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth coming in. Starting early helps establish healthy habits, allows our team to monitor development from the start, and helps little ones grow up feeling comfortable and familiar with dental visits.

AKA Smiles loves welcoming the tiniest new patients at our Indian Trail location. Our pediatric dentists are warm, patient, and skilled at making infants and toddlers feel safe during their first few visits. We also spend time with parents, sharing age-appropriate guidance on teething, feeding habits, and home care so the whole family starts off on the right foot.

If it’s been six months or more since your child’s last dental checkup, then it’s time to contact our practice and schedule an appointment!
